A Will is a legal document which sets out what happens to an individual’s money, property or possessions on death.

If drafted well, a Will should be capable of lasting a lifetime without requiring any formal amendments. A badly drafted Will can result in disputes about validity or interpretation.

Without a valid Will the individual’s money, property and possessions may be shared out amongst family according to set rules regardless of any wishes they may have expressed.

If you need a Will or Codicil drafted by an experienced Barrister, or advice or representation in Court or at a Mediation in relation to a Will, please contact one of the Clerks to Charles Cooper for an initial, informal chat.
